Extended nearly 30cm long. Only spring part inside the handle is magnetic so the outside is stainless. Half push in and inject some silicone spray(oil) and its operation is super smooth and noiseless. Is in fact the post-war precursor of the electric hand mixer. Easy when, for example, only a minimum of eggs need to be beaten and no hassle with mounting the beaters on your electric stand mixer. I'm sure you could make mayonnaise in a slightly larger diameter jar, I haven't tried that yet. In fact bought to dissolve bird vitamins in water well and also for liquid plant food. Just a quick rinse under the tap and you're ready to go again.
An excellent helper in the kitchen during a power outage. It will take some effort to work with sponge cake batter or cream, but it's possible to whip them. Separately, it managed to whip egg whites into soft peaks; 2-3 eggs are quick to whip, but a larger quantity will take a long time.
Wow~ It works really well. It can be used with a larger size cup or bowl than a foam maker. It's comfortable because it doesn't put strain on the wrist. You can wash it in the same way. It's much bigger and longer than the mini electric foam maker (Daiso product). The foam maker size is like S.M.L, but only the handle length is different.
It works great, I recommend the small size, it's easier to use and seems stronger than the large one due to the shorter rod, highly recommended.

This is my 2nd of these. I previously purchased a smaller one and use it almost every day. I bought a slightly larger one bc i was so pleased with the 1st. It got a little dent during shipping but still works well.
